Picture this… Mom holds her newborn for just moments before hearing the words no parent is ever ready for: “Your baby has a serious heart defect.” Within hours, their tiny baby is airlifted out of state for emergency care — alone. Mom is still in the hospital, parents are in shock, two siblings wait at home, and now this family must somehow stay strong, find childcare, and race to be by their baby’s side.

This is happening right now. 1 in 110 children are born with a Congenital Heart Defect — that means there are likely several kids in your school or neighborhood living with CHD. These families face the unimaginable every day, and Angels for Hearts exists to bring them moments of normalcy when they need it most ❤️.
