Dear Friends, Family, and Donors,
For over 15 years, Angels for Hearts has brought the joy of Christmas to thousands of pediatric heart patients at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Sutter Children’s Center Sacramento, UC Davis Children’s Hospital, and now Kaiser Women and Children’s Hospital in Roseville. Thanks to generous supporters like you, every hospitalized child with a heart condition has experienced the joy of waking up to find Santa has found them—even in the hospital.
This holiday season, we need your help again.
According to the CDC, 1 in 110 children are born with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD). Often invisible, this lifelong condition affects many families in ways we cannot see. Angels for Hearts exists to serve these children and families in a way no other organization does. We are truly one-of-a-kind. In comparison, by the age of 20, 1 in 285 children will be diagnosed with some type of cancer. To better share the impact of your support of Angels for Hearts, we asked Child Life Specialists about what Angels for Hearts means to them:

In the five hospitals we serve, Angels for Hearts touches 2,500 pediatric heart families each year. Your support helps make these moments happen. As one Heart Angel Mom said, ‘We bring the magic of the holidays to the hospital.” To celebrate our work Ken Morton, Jr., and Chris Roberts wrote a song titled “Your Time to Shine,” capturing the spirit of Angels for Hearts. Please enjoy the video found on our website https://angelsforhearts.org/who-we-are/
With your help, Santa will fill his sleigh, and the Child Life Specialists will deliver Wishes, Wants, and Needs to heart patients—this holiday season and beyond.
